Basketball Game Preview: Rural Special Rebels vs. Concord Pirates

Rural Special hasn't had much luck against Concord recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Rural Special Rebels will venture away from home to face off against the Concord Pirates at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, Rural Special didn't have too much trouble with Ridgefield Christian as they won 51-37. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rebels.

Meanwhile, Concord won against Norfork on Tuesday with 57 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Concord blew past Shirley, posting a 57-13 victory. Given the Pirates' advantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 126th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 259th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Concord now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Rural Special, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Rural Special strolled past Concord in their previous meeting back in February by a score of 71-53. Does Rural Special have another victory up their sleeve, or will Concord turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
