Volleyball Game Preview: Huron Tigers vs. Brandon Valley Lynx

The Huron Tigers will square off against the Brandon Valley Lynx at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Huron came up short against O'Gorman on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-13, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Brandon Valley entered their tilt with Mitchell on Tuesday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Kernels.

The final score came out to 25-15, 23-25, 25-13, 25-17.

Huron's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Brandon Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 23-3.

Huron might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Brandon Valley when the teams last played back in November of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Lynx's Mya VanWesten, who had 22 digs and three assists.
