Volleyball Recap: Alhambra Takes a Loss

After flying high against Montebello last Thursday, Alhambra came back down to earth. The Moors came up short against the Bell Gardens Lancers on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Moors in their meetings with the Lancers: they've now lost five in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-7, 25-15.

Alhambra's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Bell Gardens, they pushed their record up to 13-8 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Alhambra is set to take on their familiar foe San Gabriel at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bell Gardens will face off against rival Mark Keppel at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
