Basketball Recap: Taylor Comes Up Short

Taylor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 60-45 bruising from the Carlson Marauders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Marauders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-55 back in January.

Trent Ison had a dynamite game for Carlson, going 8-for-13 on his way to 23 points and six rebounds. Ison is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 46% in the last five games he's played. Tyler Martin was another key player, putting up 11 points and five boards.

Taylor's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Carlson, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.

Coming up, Taylor is taking a road trip to face off against Garden City at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Carlson, they will be playing at home against Anderson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Carlson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.9 points per game this season.
