Baseball Recap: Gladstone Comes Up Short

Gladstone suffered their biggest defeat since March 23rd on Friday. They came up short against the Stayton Eagles, falling 10-2. The Gladiators have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Gladstone's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Stayton, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Gladstone and Stayton will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Gladiators will challenge rival Madras at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Stayton is set to take on their familiar foe Newport at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
