Soccer Recap: University School vs. Twinsburg
After flying high against Andrews Osborne Academy last Saturday, University School came back down to earth. The University School Preppers fell just short of the Twinsburg Tigers by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. The Preppers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2021.
University School's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3-1. As for Twinsburg, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.
University School will host Walsh Jesuit at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Walsh Jesuit is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.6 goals per game this season. As for Twinsburg, they will head out to square off against North Royalton at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. North Royalton's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
