Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Richmond). They blew past the Lee County Yellow Jackets 12-2 on Friday. The win was nothing new for the Raiders as they're now sitting on three straight.
Jason Walker tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out six over 4.2 innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Caden Nolan was a standout: he scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.
