Football Recap: Celebration Beats St. Cloud for Their Third Straight Win

Celebration had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the St. Cloud Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 19-0 victory on Tuesday. Given the Storm's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 105th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

It was another big night for Isabel Meadows, who threw for 168 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 52 yards and one TD. What's more, she posted two receiving yards, the most she's had since back in March.

Celebration didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off six passes before the game was over. Arianna Patterson led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself. Julissa Jerome is also crushing it when it comes to defended passes: she's defended at least one every time she's taken the field this season.

The win (which was Celebration's third in a row) raised their record to 14-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 30.3 points over those games. As for St. Cloud, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.

Celebration has already played their next game, a 26-6 loss against Harmony on the 17th. St. Cloud does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
