Baseball Recap: Calhoun County Comes Up Short

Calhoun County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Williston-Elko Blue Devils, falling 12-4. If the Saints were looking for revenge after losing 11-1 to the Blue Devils when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Chris Glover was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple was his first of the season.

Calhoun County's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Williston-Elko, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.

While Calhoun County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
