Baseball Game Preview: Westbury Christian Wildcats vs. Rosehill Christian Eagles

Westbury Christian hasn't had much luck against Rosehill Christian recently, but that could start to change on Friday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Westbury Christian is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game two weeks ago. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Cooper.

HR Emanuel made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Meanwhile, Rosehill Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 11-3 to St. Francis Episcopal.

Austin Wynn was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and one run. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.

Westbury Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Rosehill Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-1.

Westbury Christian couldn't quite get it done against Rosehill Christian in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 as they fell 9-4. Can Westbury Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
