Somers and Morgan squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Somers had to settle for second. They lost 51-31 to the Morgan Huskies. The Spartans' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Morgan's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Emma Teuner, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 23 boards. The dominant performance gave Teuner a new career-high in rebounds. Another player making a difference was Maddy Grenon, who posted 15 points.

Somers' defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Morgan, they pushed their record up to 21-5 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

Somers does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Morgan, they will take on Coventry at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday. Coventry will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Morgan surely won't give up without a fight.
