Pueblo South is 8-2 against Pueblo East since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Pueblo South Colts will be playing at home against the Pueblo East Eagles at 7:30 p.m. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Pueblo South has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Pueblo East will arrive with three straight victories.

On Tuesday, Pueblo South came up short against Pueblo Central and fell 64-56.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pueblo East). They breezed by Pueblo Centennial to the tune of 80-28 on Tuesday. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 44-12.

Pueblo East's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Pueblo South, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.

Everything came up roses for Pueblo South against Pueblo East in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 72-43 victory. Does Pueblo South have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pueblo East turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
