After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Battle Ground Academy, Franklin Road Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Providence Christian Academy LIONS a 7-0 shutout. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Millie Pardue was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 16 over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season.

Pardue wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Ren Spencer, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Marjorie Clark also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
