Basketball Recap: Brighton Comes Up Short

Brighton lost against Shreveport HomeSchool Sports back in January of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bengals were outmatched by the Force and fell 67-28. The Bengals were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-13.

Davis Wolfe and Reid Williams certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Wolfe posted 19 points and three steals, while Williams put up four points and 17 rebounds. Wolfe's big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points.

Brighton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Shreveport HomeSchool Sports, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Coming up, Brighton will square off against Christian Academy of Louisiana at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shreveport HomeSchool Sports, they will face off against Freedom Life Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Force's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
