Soccer Recap: St. Helens Takes a Loss

St. Helens lost against Hood River Valley back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions lost 8-0 to the Eagles. That's two games in a row now that St. Helens have lost by exactly eight goals.

St. Helens' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Hood River Valley, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1-1.

Coming up, St. Helens will welcome Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Centennial's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so St. Helens' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Hood River Valley, they will take on Putnam at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
