Baseball Recap: DuPont Comes Up Short

DuPont lost against Christiana last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers fell 9-4 to the Vikings.

DuPont saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michael Barron, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Barron is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

DuPont has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Christiana, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-10 record this season.

DuPont will be playing at home against First State Military Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Christiana does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
