Volleyball Recap: Sterling Comes Up Short

Sterling and Medicine Lodge squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Sterling had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians. The Black Bears' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it nine in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-7.

Sterling's loss dropped their record down to 14-19. As for Medicine Lodge, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 33-4.

Sterling has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Trego on the 20th. As for Medicine Lodge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Rawlins County on the 20th.
