Softball Recap: Wilson Takes a Loss

Wilson managed to slip by Darlington the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Wilson came up short against Darlington on Tuesday, falling 12-2. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2022.

This is the second loss in a row for Wilson and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Darlington, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wilson will host Lakewood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Darlington, they will welcome West Florence at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. West Florence's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so Darlington's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
