Soccer Game Preview: Legacy vs. Midland

While Legacy's win against Chisholm Trail wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Leopards' defense stepped up to hand the Rangers a 1-0 shutout on Tuesday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Legacy were the better team in the second half.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Thursday. Midland took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wylie. Midland's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The victory made it two in a row for Legacy and bumps their season record up to 8-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. As for Midland, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2-4.
