Basketball Recap: South Ridge Comes Up Short

South Ridge lost against Cromwell back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The South Ridge Panthers lost to the Cromwell Cardinals on the road by a 69-50 margin. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cromwell's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dylan Nyberg, who went 9 of 20 en route to 25 points and eight rebounds. Nyberg's evening made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Dahl, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 boards.

South Ridge now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Cromwell, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Ridge and Chisholm will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cromwell, they will be taking part in a tournament against Cloquet at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
