Basketball Recap: Scott County Central Takes a Loss

Scott County Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 60-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saxony Lutheran Crusaders. The Braves lost against the Crusaders in their previous head to head back in January of 2015, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 94-23 score last time.

Scott County Central now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Saxony Lutheran, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-7.

Scott County Central is taking a road trip to face off against Oak Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Saxony Lutheran, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Sikeston at 7:30 p.m.
