Preview: Liberty Christian Prep Lions vs. Heritage Christian School Eagles
Liberty Christian Prep is 0-3 against Heritage Christian School since November of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Liberty Christian Prep Lions' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Heritage Christian School Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on January 18th.
On Tuesday, Liberty Christian Prep was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 38-34 to Hampden DuBose Academy.
Meanwhile, Heritage Christian School strolled past Grace Christian with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 69-51. The win was just what Heritage Christian School needed coming off of a 86-56 loss in their prior match.
The match pitted two key players against one another: Elijah Reid and Mark Dudley. Reid had a great game and dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. Meanwhile, Dudley was balling out in the loss, scoring 35 points.
Liberty Christian Prep's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-11. As for Heritage Christian School, their win bumped their record up to 12-4.
Liberty Christian Prep was dealt a bruising 66-26 loss at the hands of Heritage Christian School when the teams last played back in November of 2023. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Liberty Christian Prep was down 52-20.
