Soccer Recap: Palmyra Comes Up Short

Palmyra fought the good fight in their overtime match against Northern York on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Polar Bears by a score of 1-0. Palmyra haven't had much luck with Northern York recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Palmyra's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-1. As for Northern York, their victory bumped their record up to 9-0.

Looking ahead, Palmyra will venture away from home to face off against Exeter Township at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Exeter Township will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Palmyra surely won't give up without a fight. As for Northern York, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bishop McDevitt at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
