Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Little River). Everything went their way against the Marion Warriors on Friday as they made off with a 19-2 win. The victory was just business as usual for the Redskins, who after nine games remain undefeated this season.

Spencer Strecker was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). Strecker was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs while going 2-for-5.

In other batting news, Eastyn Wohletz was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. Camden Strecker was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-5.

Little River always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Marion only posted an OBP of .211.

Little River pushed their record up to 9-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Marion, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Little River beat the Warriors by a score of 18-4 later that day.
