Basketball Recap: Little Axe Comes Up Short

Little Axe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 59-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mount St. Mary Rockets. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rockets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.

Little Axe's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Mount St. Mary, they moved to 3-9 with that win, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

Little Axe has already played their next contest, a 53-29 defeat against Clinton on the 10th. As for Mount St. Mary, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 46-44 loss against Tecumseh on the 10th.
