Softball Recap: Prestonwood Christian Lions vs. Nolan Catholic Vikings
Prestonwood Christian was the 6-3 winner over Nolan Catholic when they last played one another last Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Prestonwood Christian Lions fell just short of the Nolan Catholic Vikings by a score of 5-4 on Tuesday.
Laila George put in work while hitting and pitching. She pitched six innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits (she also didn't allow any walks). George was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI.
In other batting news, Teagan Nolan led a balanced group of hitters, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. Nolan is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's stolen at least one every time she's taken the field this season. Ryan Tessier was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
