Baseball Game Preview: Wareham Vikings vs. Ware Indians

Wareham has won three straight games at home, while Ware has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Saturday. The Vikings will welcome the Indians at 11:00 a.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Wareham is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Easthampton/Hampshire just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 8-5 to the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Ware entered their contest against Hopkins Academy on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Indians took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Hawks. Indians fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Golden Hawks since on Saturday.

Troy Dufresne made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Wareham now has a losing record of 7-8-1. As for Ware, their loss dropped their record down to 18-2.
