Volleyball Game Preview: Victory Christian Vikings vs. Sacramento Waldorf Waves

Victory Christian hasn't had much luck against Sacramento Waldorf recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Vikings will face off against the Waves at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Victory Christian came up short against Encina on Thursday, falling 3-0.

While Victory Christian was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-14, 25-19.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Sacramento Waldorf and Futures, and Futures kept the tradition alive. The Waves took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights on Thursday.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-9, 21-25, 25-21.

Victory Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Sacramento Waldorf, their loss dropped their record down to 15-3.

Victory Christian suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Sacramento Waldorf when the teams last played back in September. Can the Vikings avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
