It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but University had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged the Boone Braves out 58-55. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Cougars have posted against the Braves since January 6, 2021.

University's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mo Kamara led the charge by going 6-for-12 on his way to 21 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Kamara is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Kyle Bailey, who posted 12 points in addition to five boards and four steals.

University has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. As for Boone, their loss dropped their record down to 13-14.

University didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-36 defeat against Winter Park on the 7th. Boone does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
