Volleyball Game Preview: Central Valley Falcons vs. West Valley Eagles + Official Tickets

Central Valley is 0-10 against West Valley since October of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Falcons will host the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. West Valley took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Central Valley, who comes in off a win.

Central Valley took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Lassen, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Falcons skirted past the Grizzlies 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Falcons have posted since September 3, 2024.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Central Valley got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 14-25, 25-14, 15-25, 15-6.

Meanwhile, West Valley suffered their biggest loss since November 12, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against University Prep, falling 3-0.

While West Valley ultimately came up short, they really made University Prep work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 28-26, 25-23.

West Valley's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 17-5. As for Central Valley, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-25.
