York came tearing into Saturday's game with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Plainfield East Bengals. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Dukes also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2023.

Hunter Stepanich paced York's offense, picking up ten kills. Stepanich got some help from Carson Cruver and his 22 assists. Tyler Asmussen controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

York's victory bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Plainfield East, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.

York has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Brother Rice on the 26th. As for Plainfield East, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Hononegah on the 26th.
