Volleyball Recap: Preble Shawnee Comes Up Short

Preble Shawnee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Tri-Village Patriots, falling 3-0. If the Arrows were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Patriots when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Preble Shawnee's offense was headlined by Macy Price and Haylee Eppard, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Sallie Montgomery and her nine assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Preble Shawnee's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Tri-Village, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

After both having extra time off, Preble Shawnee and Dixie will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Tri-Village, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Houston on the 30th.
