Basketball Recap: Fairview Christian Academy Piles Up the Points Against Knoxville Christian

The Fairview Christian Academy Falcons humbled the Knoxville Christian Knights with a 65-35 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-13.

Despite the loss, Knoxville Christian still got an impressive performance from Jon Cooper, who posted 19 points. That was a full 54.3% of the Knights' points, marking the third time in a row Cooper has had more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Parker Hayes, who put up eight points.

The victory got Fairview Christian Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Knoxville Christian, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coincidentally, Fairview Christian Academy and Knoxville Christian will both be playing Apostolic Christian the next time they take the court. The Knights will host Apostolic Christian at 6:15 p.m. on Monday, while the Falcons will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on December 5.
