Football Preview: Rawlins County Buffaloes vs. Decatur Community Red Devils        
        
		
             The Rawlins County Buffaloes will square off against the Decatur Community Red Devils at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 Decatur Community is hoping to do what St. Francis couldn't  on Friday: put an end to Rawlins County's winning streak, which now stands at five games. Rawlins County simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat St. Francis 50-12 on the road.
  Ryan Sramek continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 315 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 9.5 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf  during one magnificent 77-yard run. The team also got some help courtesy of  Dorian Culwell, who rushed for 131 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries.
 He was just one part of a punishing run game: Rawlins County was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 470  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 175  rushing yards in 17 consecutive  matchups  dating back to last season.
 One reason for the win was Rawlins County's imposing  defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Culwell was especially locked on to St. Francis' QB and sacked him four times. Culwell's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 100  rushing yards dating back to last season.
 Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better  (just ask Decatur Community). They claimed a resounding  54-0 win over Stockton on the road. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Red Devils considering their 12-point performance the  match before.
 Rawlins County pushed their record up to 5-1 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. As for Decatur Community, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record  this season.
 Friday's   contest might be decided in the on the ground. Rawlins County has been unstoppable on the ground this season,  having  averaged 353  rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Decatur Community struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 230.2. It's looking like  Friday's  matchup might have some serious battles in the trenches.
 Everything came up roses for Rawlins County against Decatur Community in their previous matchup  back in October of 2023, as the  squad secured  a  58-12 win.
