            Cypress Christian will face off against St. Frederick at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both teams are coming into the  contest red-hot, with Cypress Christian sitting on  seven straight  victories and St. Frederick on four.
On Friday, Cypress Christian didn't have too much trouble with McKinney Christian Academy  as they won  35-21. Give the Warriors' offense some serious credit: that high-scoring performance was actually the fewest  points they've scored all season.
Cypress Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Brayden Dawson, who rushed for 66 yards and a pair of  scores on only eight carries, and also threw for 167 yards and two  touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes. Another player making a difference was  Brian Broadus II, who gained 234 total yards and a touchdown.
 Cypress Christian's run defense was locked in: McKinney Christian Academy could only muster 2.1 yards per carry. While one picked up at least one  total tackle,  Dawson stood above the rest. He rushed for 66 yards and a pair of  TDs on only eight carries, and also threw for 167 yards and two  touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes. Cypress Christian didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 9.4.
 Cypress Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut  Dawson.
 Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask St. Frederick). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Delhi 56-12. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won three games by 34  points or more  so far this season.
 Cypress Christian's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for St. Frederick, they now  have a winning record of 4-3.
