Soccer Game Preview: John Bartram vs. Central

The John Bartram Braves will face off against the Central Lancers at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

John Bartram lost 7-1 to Northeast on Monday. While losing is never fun, John Bartram can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 329th, while Northeast are ranked 73rd).

Meanwhile, Central managed to keep up with Samuel Fels until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Lancers came up short against the Panthers, falling 3-0.

Central has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for John Bartram, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
