If Udall wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Sedan, they should've done a better job of containing Jackson Dowell. The Sedan Devils put the hurt on the Udall Eagles with a sharp 70-44 win on Friday which was due in part to Dowell, who en route to 23 points along with seven boards and five assists. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.5% field goal percentage.

John Wade also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (50%).

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jordan Hornecker, who posted 25 points. That was a full 56.8% of Udall's points, marking the fourth time in a row Hornecker has put up more than a third of the team's points. James Hornecker was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Sedan's record is now 6-11. As for Udall, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.

Sedan has already played their next match, a 72-44 loss against West Elk on the 17th. As for Udall, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 80-45 defeat against Cedar Vale/Dexter on the 21st.
