Softball Recap: Lely Comes Up Short

Lely lost against Seacrest Country Day on April 3rd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Trojans fell 15-10 to the Stingrays. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brooke Bledsoe was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-5 with four runs, two triples, and three RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Mary Dalag, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Lely's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Seacrest Country Day, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Lely nor Seacrest Country Day have any future games scheduled.
