Soccer Game Preview: Stargate School vs. Forge Christian

The Stargate School Eagles will take on the Forge Christian Fury at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Stargate School headed into their last match having not scored more than one goal for three straight, but St. Mary's Academy let them put that streak behind them. The Eagles' defense stepped up to hand the Wildcats a 4-0 shutout on Thursday. The win continues a trend for Stargate School in their matchups with St. Mary's Academy: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Forge Christian narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Liberty Common 2-1. Sarah Banks had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Forge Christian.

Forge Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-2-1. As for Stargate School, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5-1.

Stargate School skirted past Forge Christian 1-0 when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Fury turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
