Volleyball Recap: Mt. Olive Comes Up Short

Mt. Olive lost against Lutheran back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 2-1. While the Wildcats didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Crusaders 25-18 in the first set.

While Mt. Olive ultimately came up short, they really made Lutheran work, particularly in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-19, 27-25.

Mt. Olive's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Mt. Olive will challenge Calvary at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lutheran, they will take on Metro-East Lutheran at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
