Basketball Recap: Dunkerton Extends Road Winning Streak to Seven

Dunkerton proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 32) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Baxter 76-73. The Raiders haven't had any issues with Baxter recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Dunkerton pushed their record up to 18-4 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Baxter, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.

Looking ahead, Dunkerton will take on Hudson at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Dunkerton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten contests -- so hopefully Hudson likes a good challenge. As for Baxter, they will square off against Colfax-Mingo on Tuesday. Baxter is facing Colfax-Mingo at the right time seeing as Colfax-Mingo is stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
