Recap: Carol City Chiefs vs. North Miami Pioneers
The Carol City Chiefs pushed their score all the way to 56 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to North Miami 62-56. Carol City has struggled against North Miami recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, Carol City had strong showings from Jahquori Lombrage, who scored 29 points along with five rebounds and three steals, and Mikaili Taylor, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lombrage has scored all season. Decurtis Johnson was another key contributor, scoring six points.
It was another big night for Alex Jean-Jacques, who scored 24 points for North Miami. Another player making a difference was Bradley Gregoire, who scored 12 points.
Carol City's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for North Miami, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
Carol City will be playing at home against Somerset Academy Central Miramar at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Miami, they will head out on the road to challenge Jackson at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
