Ephrata has gone a perfect 7-0 against Cedar Crest recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Mountaineers will be playing at home against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Ephrata is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.

Ephrata took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They came out on top against Manheim Township by a score of 4-1.

Ephrata saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Prange, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Prange has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Landry Weidner was another, going 1-for-2 with three RBI.

Meanwhile, Cedar Crest came up short against Hempfield on Tuesday, falling 8-1. The matchup marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Ephrata pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Cedar Crest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.
