Volleyball Recap: Chandler Takes a Loss

Chandler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pinnacle Pioneers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Pioneers this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat back in August.

Elyse Davis paced Chandler's offense, picking up six kills. Davis got some help from Brooke Mehlberg and her ten assists.

Chandler's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Pinnacle, their record is now 14-6.

Chandler wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Sunrise Mountain on the 10th. As for Pinnacle, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Canyon View on the 10th.
