Volleyball Game Preview: Sports Leadership & Management Pandas vs. Westminster Academy Lions

The Sports Leadership & Management Pandas will face off against the Westminster Academy Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Thursday, Sports Leadership & Management didn't have quite enough to beat Highlands Christian and fell 3-2. The Pandas have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Sports Leadership & Management sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 14-25, 25-18, 8-25, 15-11.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Westminster Academy faced off against Coral Springs Charter on Thursday. The Lions took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost four in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 24-26, 25-8, 25-20.

Sports Leadership & Management's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Westminster Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 9-13.

Sports Leadership & Management came up short against Westminster Academy in their previous meeting back in September, falling 3-1. Can the Pandas avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
