Community School of Davidson is 9-1 against Langtree Charter Academy since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Community School of Davidson Spartans will host the Langtree Charter Academy Lions at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Community School of Davidson barely beat Langtree Charter Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Community School of Davidson blew past Langtree Charter Academy 11-3 on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Spartans sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

For Langtree Charter Academy's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Gelpke, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-3. Gelpke is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played. William Tucker also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Langtree Charter Academy's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Community School of Davidson, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
