Softball Recap: Gibson County Pioneers vs. Ripley Tigers

After a string of three wins, Gibson County's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They lost 13-7 to the Ripley Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Pioneers have suffered since March 10th.

Andrea Criswell was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.
