Volleyball Game Preview: Boulder Panthers vs. Greeley Central Wildcats

Boulder is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Greeley Central an 11-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Boulder Panthers will look to defend their home court against the Greeley Central Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

It was a proper cat-fight when Boulder duked it out with Niwot on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Cougars.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-12, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Greeley Central didn't have quite enough to beat Centaurus on Tuesday and fell 3-2. While the Wildcats didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Warriors 25-18 in the first set.

While Greeley Central ultimately came up short, they really made Centaurus work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 27-25, 23-25, 25-14, 15-12.

Boulder's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Greeley Central, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.
