Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kennedy). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Chicago Vocational Cavaliers 38-0. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Crusaders considering their nine-point performance the matchup before.

Kennedy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.7 points on average over those games. As for Chicago Vocational, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6-1.

Coming up, Kennedy will be playing in front of their home fans against Longwood at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' defense has only allowed 8.9 points per game this season, so the Crusaders' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Chicago Vocational, they are taking a road trip to face off against Solorio at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Sun Warriors will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
