Recap: Ashland Blue Jays vs. Bucklin Red Aces

Bucklin found their leader in underclassman Emmerson Kirk, who scored 21 points along with five assists and four steals. Another player making a difference was Sydnie Jones, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.
Ashland's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-10. As for Bucklin, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-3.
Ashland will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Moscow at 6:30 p.m. Hopefully Ashland focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Tuesday. As for Bucklin, they will head out on the road to face off against Minneola at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
